The money questions

What does a call out cost?

Nothing. The call out fee is $0, your plumber assesses the job properly, and you receive a single fixed written price before any tool comes off the van. If the price does not suit, you owe us nothing.

Do you charge extra for nights, weekends or public holidays?

No. Overtime rates simply do not exist here, so a 9pm emergency on a Sunday is priced exactly the same way as a weekday morning job. Payment plans, card and cash are all accepted.

What if the job turns out bigger than the quote?

If diagnosis reveals extra work, your plumber explains it, re-quotes in writing and waits for your approval. Nothing proceeds without your say-so, especially inside walls or under slabs.

Questions about how we work

How quickly can you get here in an emergency?

As fast as the van can safely travel, with crews working the ridge and surrounding streets most days, so the plumber arriving has usually just finished a nearby job.

Are your plumbers licensed?

Every plumber on the team is fully licensed and insured under licence #275278C, and compliance certificates arrive with your invoice without you needing to ask.

Questions shaped by this suburb's houses

Why do drains in this suburb block so often?

Mature gardens and tree-lined reserves feed roots into the vitreous clay sewer lines laid for the 1950s and 1960s homes, and those old joints also crack and shift in the shale and sandstone ground. If a drain has blocked more than once, it is worth seeing CCTV drain inspections before paying for another clear.

Can you handle plumbing in fibro and post-war cottages?

Yes. Many original brick, brick-veneer and fibro homes have been renovated or rebuilt, and we work confidently across original pipework, newer fittings and everything in between. The residential plumbing page covers the whole-home picture.

Does a sloping block change how my plumbing should be built?

It does. Homes on the ridge's flanks need properly graded falls and drainage that manages fast stormwater runoff, which is a design question, not just a repair one. Our stormwater team builds to the levels your block actually has.

Should I repair or replace my ageing hot water system?

If the tank itself is corroding, replacement is usually the honest answer; if it is a valve, element or thermostat, a repair often buys years, and your plumber will tell you which. Start at hot water repair for symptoms or hot water replacement for end-of-life decisions.

Coverage and booking

Which nearby suburbs do you cover?

We service Allambie Heights, Brookvale, Frenchs Forest, Narraweena and Dee Why, alongside the suburb this site is built around. Each has its own page, for example plumber Frenchs Forest, with details drawn from that area rather than copy-pasted.

How do I book a non-urgent job?

Call (02) 9072 0528, describe what is happening, and a licensed plumber will outline what it likely means and when we can realistically attend. Planned maintenance is popular here because original pipework rewards early attention; see maintenance plumbing for what a regular check covers. You can also contact us with details and preferred times, or read more about the team before you book.
